Terra Necrosis is the fourth studio album by Swedish death metal band Nominon. The album, released in 2012, showcases the band's signature brutal and uncompromising sound, with a focus on groove and melody.
The album opens with the track "Release in Death", which sets the tone for the rest of the album with its crushing riffs and pummeling drums. The songs that follow, such as "Hordes of Flies" and "The End Written in Blood", continue in a similar vein, with fast-paced riffs and guttural vocals.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "In the Name of Gomorrah", which features a catchy chorus and a more melodic approach to the guitar work. This song, along with "Abhorrent Parasites" and "Buried by Me", show that Nominon is capable of incorporating melody into their brutal sound without sacrificing any of their intensity.

Nominon are a Swedish Death Metal band like countless others: their second album Recremation sounds better than their debut and it's recorded in B tuning, but like its follow-up, 2007's Terra Necrosis, it remains generic, derivative and useless.

These guys did their homework when it came to guitar tone. HM-2s, and crank those amps to 11. Oh yeah, and write killer riffs; I guess that's important too...
